Thank you for always caring about this world; our world; your world; tomorrow's world.
Friends, good afternoon!
It has been quite some time since you last received an email from your farmers at Timshel Wildland!
They said that farming 400-acres, raising 3 kids 3 and under, and local marketing all of your food was going to be easy! Well, they (whoever that was) was wrong! :D Ha!
Since we last spoke, we've been blessed with a 3rd child (Sequoia), increased the size of our cattle herd exponentially, purchased adjoining acres to facilitate this growth, and increased our pig breeding operation at least two-fold. We (Daniel) have also launched a best-selling book that the top Regenerative Farmer in the world has called "a devotional" for the regenerative movement, managed to scale our regenerative consulting and education organization by helping start and run 10 new farms in 2021 alone(!!!), and had a great time doing it in the process!
What we are doing here at the Wildland is something special. Other farms are starting catching on. Timshel, which began as a small mission between a husband and a wife to step back and truly farm, not in nature's image, but in nature herself, now manages 5 other Wildland-type farms across the Mid-Atlantic! We are hard at work building a better world that our hearts know is possible. Thank you for always caring about this world; our world; your world; tomorrow's world.
Life has been busy and we've kept busy just in keeping up with it! It is unfortunate, though, that our communications fell through as the result. We hope this email is the first of many to keep our wonderful and local customers in the loop. We farm in order to heal our local community and it is about time we rekindled this flame.
We have so much more to say, announcements to make, and ordering windows to elucidate. But, for now, we will leave this here as a thank you: for being you, for allowing us to be us, and for deeply caring about that thing that is we.
We would love to hear from you!
If you would, please reply to this email and let us know how you are, what you've been up to, and how we can help nourish your autumn and winter seasons!
Daniel, Morgan, Elowyn, Tecumseh, and Sequoia Griffith
